----------
A McConnelsville teen is scheduled to be sentenced for the death of a Malta mother of three Wednesday afternoon.
18-year-old Travis Fischer pleaded guilty to aggravated murder, aggravated burglary, rape, theft of a motor vehicle, and arson earlier this month.
Officials with the Morgan county prosecutors office say Fischer admitted to killing 35-year-old Abi Matthews in June.
Fischer admitted to beating and raping Matthews, and then says he left her in her home, took her car and burned it at another location.
Fischer was 17 when the crimes took place, but is being tried as an adult.
Officials say since Fischer pleaded guilty to the charges they will recommend a sentence of life in prison with eligibility for parole after thirty years.
