You may have seen our Daybreak interview Monday, November 14th about the upcoming Marietta YMCA Chili Cook-Off, well I have been asked to judge the contest.

Now, its a great honor to be asked to take part in any charity event and I couldn't ask for a more delicious one to participate in, but I got to thinking today and wondered "what criteria do I base the chili on?

Some of the chili could be delicious, but spicy.

Another batch could be just right, but need more beans.

I need to know the exacts amount of spicy along with the tastiest amount of ingredient, so I want to know what you think - what criteria make your perfect bowl of chili?

Marietta Family YMCA’s 12th Annual Chili, Soup & Dessert Cook Off

Saturday November 19th 6-9 pm @ Marietta Shrine Club

50 varieties of chili and soup to sample, desserts to cool things down, cash bar and live music by Hip Pocket.

Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for seniors.
