The Belpre Volunteer Fire Department will be conducting a live burn training near the intersection of Scott Avenue and Walnut Street until approximately 1-2 P.M. There is no cause for alarm if smoke is seen in the area.
The Parkersburg detachment of the West Virginia State Police will be conducting a Sobriety checkpoint in conjunction with the Commission on Drunk Driving on September 20, according to a press release from W.Va. State Police.
