Good morning! It’s a great theater weekend, with lots of good plays on stage. Let’s start with tonight, when the comedy “Boom” takes the stage at Marietta College Theater Dept. Thur., Fri., Sat., @ 8pm, Sun. @ 2pm. Call 740-376-4678

Friday night, it’s time for the Marietta Merchants and Artists holiday walk, from 6 – 9 pm featuring artists and refreshments in each store, plus holiday shopping specials all over town!

Saturday, there are Gingerbread House Workshops at The Castle, 418 4th St. Sat. 9AM-12 Noon. Space is limited, so reserve your spot early. Call 740-373-4180.

Saturday night, the Michael Tobar Jazz Group performs as part of the Evergreen Arts & Humanities Series at Washington State Community College. Sat., 8pm Free and open to the public. Then on Sunday, The Parkersburg Choral Society presents their fall concert “In A Classical Mood” @ the Vienna Baptist Church, 3401 Grand Central Ave., @ 3pm. Admission is free.

On the same day, at the same time, there’s a Concert of Sacred Music featuring Jan Powers Carrothers, organist, accompanied by pianist Jane Kincheloe Wilfong and violinist Claire Dent. Sun. @ 3pm at the First Baptist Church, 813 Market St. in Parkersburg.
