south won get over it patriots rule, but the mud did play a factor i think if it had been sunny south wouldve still won by a 10 point margin so its w/e
Patriot Fan, I agree with you, but it's not only the Belles, but the Red wings, Cheerleaders, and all bands also. FYI the CU gallery in the Parkersburg News has some great pictures of the Belles.
Bcuz football is much more entertaining. Southern belles are hotties tho
The Southern Belles work hard ALL YEAR LONG to provide entertainment for the crowd! WHY are they NEVER recognized on WTAP? They are responsible for their own expenses...their uniforms and everything else. They, too, have parents, grandparents and other family and friends who would enjoy seeing them on tv.
It's to bad that some here can't accept the fact that they just flat out lost! They want to blame the refs or the weather to field conditions. What was it last year when the Big Reds were beat on their home turf? Truly sad. Why don't we try something new...Let's try recognizing the fact that our boys worked their butts off to play like they did as did the PHS boys. Why can't it just be said that both teams practiced and played as hard as they could and gave it 110% of themselves. Just so happens that on Friday night the Patriot boys were the better team. PHS has some bright moments too like Wasonga's 2 touchdowns, but don't forget that the South boys were able to do soemthing that noone else PHS has played this year was able to do and that was to keep Wasonga under 200 yards for the game. Enjoy the trophy again this year Patriots! You earned it! Oh and don't worry PHS there's always next year! GREAT JOB SOUTH! PROUD TO BE A PATRIOT!!!!!!
If the score was reversed the south fans would have blamed the weather,and ref's. So it works both ways.
It's a big shame people have to blame it on the refs. Sorry PHS doesnt have defense period. Look at all the other games. The only way you even score is because you RECRUITED wasonga. & yes he is amazing. But we have heart, and talent. Sorry you all are "too good" to admit it.
if u ask me i think the refs were confused. guess they had favorites in the game. next year bigreds beat the hell out of them!!
a true big red fan, cant accept a loss so you blame the refs next thing you know you'll blame it on field conditions face it parkersburg high was outplayed. south was the better team
wow!!!! the only other time ive seen refs as bad as that was in super bowl XL.

What a good old mud slinging game. Instead of throwing the ball throw mud. Didn't care for the score ither. Next year Big Reds

As a friend of Wasonga's and a South fan, last night was a great night!
It was nice to sit here in Texas and watch a football game in the mud also nice to see south win the game.
