A motorcyclist is in the hospital, after crashing right into the back of a car.

It happened on Route 2 in Waverly, just before seven o'clock Friday evening.

Authorities say after David Swisher crashed his bike into the car, he skidded a couple hundred feet!

But lucky for him, an ambulance was just one car up from him!

Authorities say he had a broken leg and other injuries, but say his injuries were not life-threatening.
