A Washington County man who pleaded guilty to trafficking in drugs learned his fate in court Wednesday.

Brandon Rutherford was in Judge Lane's courtroom for his sentencing.

Rutherford pleaded guilty to trafficking in marijuana last year after an ongoing investigation by the Washington County Sheriff's Department.

Judge Lane sentenced Rutherford to one hundred twenty days in jail followed by six months in a rehabilitation facility.

How much more can 1 family take? Only the strong survive this cruel world. Keep your heads up and know that you are not alone. I am praying for your family.

I feel so badly for the family. First, they lose a son in Iraq and then a son gets into this situation. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
