A late October trial date has been set for murder suspect Charlene DeBerry.

DeBerry is charged with one count of murder and death of a child by a parent.

Police say DeBerry, while trying to keep her infant son, Michael, from crying last September, wrapped a blanket around his chest until he stopped breathing.

At a status hearing Wednesday, a report was presented to the court, on a recent psychological examination of DeBerry.

That report, however, stated no conclusion on her mental state.
