The Washington County Mutual Fire Protection Association has a new president.

Richard Best with the Devola Volunteer Fire Department is the new president.

The Association made the announcement last week at their bi-monthly meeting.

Best is replacing former president Lester Grosklos, who passed away last month.

Mark Fisher of the Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department is the new vice president.
