The search continues for a suspect in Thursday's shooting death of a Washington County man.

Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks says detectives found 42 year old Patrick Arnold dead in his Bells Run home in Newport early Thursday evening.

Mincks says Arnold died from a gunshot wound.

The Sheriff's Department and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation are examining the crime.

Arnold's body has been sent to Montgomery County for an autopsy.

Detectives are interviewing various people. As of 11:00 am Friday, no arrest had been made.

Patrick, Was not only my cousin but my friend. I will miss him very much. He was a good honest hard working person who would do anything for you. If he didn't know something believe me give him time he would figure it out. We spent so many hours fixing my computer at work but when it was done it was like a brand new one. I will just miss all the good times we spent talking.

Pat was always a gentleman when he would come to the storeroom for parts. He was very good at his craft. He will be missed.

I worked with and for Pat several times in the last 8 years. He was a good guy and I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Pat was a very nice person. I worked with him several times at my job location. He was very good at his craft.
