Ohio State President Gordon Gee stopped in Marietta Tuesday to talk up the university and it's future.
Gee had dinner with several of OSU's Mid-Ohio Valley alumni Tuesday night at the Levee House in Marietta.
This is part of President Gee's promise to visit each of Ohio's 88 counties to talk with alumni about recruiting students, news and events at the university and to meet with high school guidance counselors.
Gee is currently at the center of a movement by more than 100 college presidents to lower the legal drinking age from 21 to 18.
Gee was president of West Virginia University from 1981 to 1985.
