Last week was National Young Readers Week and Friday WTAP's very own, Courtney Rochon, read stories to local students.

Rochon read "This is the Turkey" to about forty kindergarteners at Franklin Elementary Friday afternoon.

Some liked it so much that they even asked for an encore!

She also read "Thanksgiving is Here" and the students shared what their favorite food is to eat on the big day.

It was everything from turkey to deer meat, pumpkin pie, and even chicken nuggets!
