A familiar sound of the holiday season will begin ringing throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley Friday morning.

The Salvation Army in Wood County kicks off its annual kettle campaign Friday November 13th.

This years campaign runs through December 24th.

In Washington County, the Salvation Army will be kicking off its kettle campaign on Monday November 16th.

And it too runs through Christmas Eve.

Both Salvation Army offices are still looking for volunteers.
