The campaign trail led Ohio's republican candidate for governor into Marietta Thursday.

Along with other stops, John Kasich spent some time at the Fine Art and Framing Gallery, meeting and greeting with local folks and answering any questions they had.

The nine term congressman and former fox news host says the main reason he's running for governor is to bring more jobs to Ohio.

"Think of the state of Ohio like a restaurant. If you don't have any customers in your restaurant, you can't raise prices; you need to lower prices and lower your overhead. Change the menu and you get more customers. Think of Ohio that way," Kasich said.

Ohio's gubernatorial election is set for 2010.
