A scary evening for a family of four living on 10 1/2 Street in Parkersburg, after their three story home caught fire.
Investigators tell WTAP the fire was caused by a defect in the flue of a wood burning stove. The home sustained roughly $10,000 worth of damage.
Thankfully, all residents made it out of the home and no serious injuries were reported.
