The C8 Science Panel...the organization researching the effects of the chemical used by DuPont Washington Works...has announced its latest round of public testing.
A new round of blood samples will be tested not only for C8 level...but to see if their results have changed from the earlier survey.
A smaller number of people from that study will be called back and provide more blood samples.
"Much of it is repeating a series of tests that were done by the C8 Health Project," says principal investigator, Dr. Tony Fletcher, "because it provides a clearer indication of whether C8 is related to, or causing any changes in these clinical markers."
The tests are part of an ongoing study to determine the potential effects of C8 on immune and organ functions.
The beginning of the final round of results from these tests could come in some time next year.
