Parkersburg Catholic Wins Class A Championship
Parkersburg Catholic defeated Charleston Catholic 56-45 winning the West Virginia Boys Basketball Class A Championship.

Parkersburg Catholic is the champion of West Virginia Class A basketball.
Saturday the Crusaders led nearly wire to wire in a 56-45 victory over Charleston Catholic in the championship game at the Charleston Ciivic Center
Senior Cole Cwynar scored 16 of his teams 29 first half points to help the Crusades open up a 10 point lead at the break
Catholic pushed its advantage to 19 points in the second half and held off a late Charleston Catholic run.
It was an incredible shooting night for the Crusaders who hit on 50% of their shots from the field and connected on 6 out of 7 of their three point attempts.
Cwynar led all scorers with 27 points and John Padden added 16
This is the second boys basketball championship for the Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders, who finish up the season with a 23-3 record.
