A Wood county teacher is making sure her students learn more than just the curriculum. She's teaching them confidence and respect as well!

That's why Miss Judith Kibble is our Jan Dils Golden Apple award winner for the month of October.

We surprised the fifth grade teacher in front of students, faculty, and staff at Waverly Elementary Tuesday afternoon.

Miss Kibble recently celebrated 25 years at Waverly and says she learns just as much from her students as they do from her.

Judith Kibble, Golden Apple Award Winner says: "They know I love them and that I respect them and they work hard. They make it worth coming to work."
