A two-vehicle accident involving a rollover on Ohio Route 7 has sent one person to the hospital.

Lt. Mary Pfeifer of the Ohio Highway Patrol Marietta post says a Ford Explorer struck a pickup truck in the rear, while both vehicles were northbound on the highway at about 7:30 Monday morning.

The Explorer then went across the median and overturned.

The accident happened near the intersection of route 7 and Joe Skinner Road in Washington County.

The SUV's driver, 31-year old Karen Hall of Little Hocking, was taken to Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. The Highway Patrol says she suffered some minor cuts and scratches.

Lt. Pfeifer says the driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
