While the Washington County Fair ended Tuesday night, final preparations are under way for the area's next big festival.
Boats began arriving earlier this week for the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival, which officially kicks off Friday.
And although thousands are expected to line the river for this weekend's activities, some right now are finding the activity to be a nice attraction.
"I like going to the festival, and seeing everybody and getting some of the food," says Marietta resident Becky Davis. "We just thought we'd get out for today."
