Construction is moving along at the riverfront in Parkersburg. Phase one of Point Park is almost complete. Parkersburg Development Director Ann Conageski says construction is moving along even though the contractor has had to deal with a few delays.
"This portion of the project is scheduled to be done by the end of October. So they will move along pretty quickly," Conageski says. "Some days, I know the contractor down there and he works 4-10's. So, if you go down there on a Friday and see he's not there it's because he works Mon through Thursday 40 hours."
Conageski adds that bidding for phase two of Point Park is underway.
