Gov. Awards Small Cities Block Grant
Governor Joe Manchin has awarded $31 million to small cities in need and several cities in the Mid-Ohio Valley will reap the benefits.

In Doddridge County, the town of West Union will receive more than $1.2 million to complete the $1.3 million project to provide safe, potable water to 110 customers who currently rely on wells.
In Ritchie County, the town of Harrisville will receive $1.2 million to help fund the $1.9 million project to provide 87 households in Smithville with safe, potable water.
Pennsboro will get $200,000 to help facilitate the construction of a $1.5 million project to replace a lift station and waste-water facility.
36 cities in West Virginia received funding for improvement projects.
