So lets start with the fact that Brad has ran the deli for atleast 15 years and owned it for over 2 years... and the previous owner agrees with most of what he says. If you have ever been in the store or talked to the man which I think you should b4 making up your mind you would know he bashes both sides and 90% of the customers love it and stay after gettn their great food just to chat. Also WTAP came to Brad to do this not the other way around he didnt want to at first. Also if you really think he is a Hillary fan come in to the store and see his hillary sign and toilet paper haha Get over yourself people its all in good fun!

News likes this is better then someone killed someone or that someone hurt a small child. I read his board every day to see what is new. so what some of the sayings are good. some are just so so. And one day I was having a real bad day. It made me laugh. that was a good thing. keep them coming.

Isn't it wonderful that this country allows us to speak our mind? Even though I may not agree with the deli's political stance, it will not influence my patronage. It's nice to see someone exercise one of the greatest rights we have as a U.S. citizen. Kudos Rubin's Deli.

Freedom of Speech people -- their business, their sign, their right to post what they wish. It doesn't mean everyone else has to agree. Does that mean if you read something in the paper or magazine that you don't like, you're going to stop reading it? We all have our own way of stating things and have the right to do so.

Rubin's Deli doesn't need that sign for advertisment since their business is obviously where it needs to be anyways. It is to my understanding that the owner was running the deli WAY before it became his anyways so quit belly aching and find something better to do with your time.

Posted by: lori on Mar 4, 2008 at 06:15 PM
how much does rubin pay for free advertising... hmmm let's ponder that for a second. and yes that's all that's going on in parkersburg.

Posted by: Jill Location: NY on Mar 4, 2008 at 05:37 PM
Oh come on people, Mary in particular, how is what the sign says affecting the service that this restaurant provides? It's a sign, which the owner has a constitutional right to make read whatever he wants. It's nothing more than that. It doesn't make the food taste different, or the service any better or worse. Stop making more out of the situation than what it is!

Posted by: Lori Location: Belpre on Mar 4, 2008 at 05:33 PM
You know what....it's his business and he owns the sign and he can put on it whatever he wants. You don't like it? Buy your own sign and voice your opinions and stop being the judge of everyone elses. Don't like the new Rubin's? Take the time to go in and tell them why face to face, not in this type of forum.

Posted by: Sue Location: Vienna on Mar 4, 2008 at 03:45 PM
How much does Rubin's Deli pay for this free advertising on your website? I can't believe that you're letting them get away with this. Does the FCC know about this practice?

Posted by: Judi Location: Washington on Mar 4, 2008 at 02:42 PM
I'm with you....Anybody but Hillary!

Posted by: Hungry Location: Wild and Wonderful on Mar 4, 2008 at 02:41 PM
Man I could go for a hot ham and cheese right now from Rubin's Deli! YUM!!!!!

Posted by: Anonymous Location: Maryland on Mar 4, 2008 at 02:34 PM
Is he too busy and trying to reduce the lunch crowd? Only a moron would plaster this in front of his business, but it is his business to lose, and not mine... The old Rubin's Deli would have never done this...

Posted by: Chill out Location: Rockport West Virginia on Mar 4, 2008 at 02:30 PM
People need to chill out.It is his business and he can have what ever he wants.Oh well if he lost your busines. He will gain mine. And i'm sure that he will gain a lot more. And so what if he is a republican.thats his choice of what he wants to be.

Posted by: Anonymous Location: Parkersburg on Mar 4, 2008 at 12:31 PM
They lost my buisness before this sign. What happened to the old Rubin's Deli.

Posted by: Anonymous Location: Parkersburg on Mar 4, 2008 at 12:26 PM
Is there not any better news to be reported than this sign. A smart buisness man would be using this sign to advertise there specials of the day, Or something useful not stupid comments like this one. What a waste.

Posted by: jennifer Location: mineral wells on Mar 4, 2008 at 11:51 AM
it's a free country and your allowed to have an opinion whether or not you are a business owner..

Posted by: Heather Location: Parkersburg on Mar 4, 2008 at 11:47 AM
Or maybe he's a republican who doesn't like Hillary but wants her to get the democratic nomination in order to give the republicans strength.

Posted by: Anonymous Location: USA on Mar 4, 2008 at 11:16 AM
What happened Brad, they don't get your sarcasm? Don't they know when you are bashing Hillary. I guess everyone does not know your views according to Rush, or Ronald Reagan.

Posted by: renee Location: marietta on Mar 4, 2008 at 10:59 AM
you have gone to far this time!

Posted by: Ann Location: Parkersburg on Mar 4, 2008 at 10:36 AM
I think your signs are funny. It's just for fun and folks should chill out. I guess you can't please everyone.

Posted by: Kim Location: Belpre on Mar 4, 2008 at 09:53 AM
Love it!

Posted by: Mary Location: Parkersburg on Mar 4, 2008 at 09:36 AM
You just lost my business. . .apparently you are a Democrat and you should leave politics out of your business ads. . .serve all people equally or not at all.
