Charleston, W.V. (AP) -- West Virginians stand to receive more than 732 million dollars under Congress's recently approved Economic Stimulus Package.
But there's a catch. In order to receive a check from the federal government, taxpayers have to file tax returns covering the 2007 tax year.
Governor Manchin says a potential 646,000 West Virginians could receive checks under the stimulus plan.
Under the stimulus package, single filers would receive about $600, while married couples would receive $1,200 plus $300 for each dependent.
