Parkersburg Police have just announced they are in the middle of a murder investigation.

Back on saturday, family members found the body of Ruth Deloris Robinson at her 16th Street home.

Originally authorites said the death was suspicious and sent her body for an autopsy.

Those results came back today, and Chief Gerald Board says she was murdered.

They are interviewing some suspects at this time.

We will have more on this story coming up tonight on WTAP News At Six.

Now we know it's a homicide/murder. Will it automatically go on the back burner for the police, as the rest of them do. Especially since she's older and not as active in society-- so not as important. Remember, they have families that love them dearly and want this crime solved.

Is this gonna be another unsolved mystery in our area? Or perhaps one that is not even spoken of?
