The Washington County Sheriff's Department confirms Monday night's stand-off was not Jason Berecz's first run in with the law.
Detective Brian Schuck says his record dates back to 2000 and has a laundry list of charges on it including domestic violence and assault out of Franklin County and Columbus.
Detective Schuck says Berecz also has drug and alcohol offenses on his drivers license out of both Cambridge and Morgan Counties.
