As a former resident of Tyler County, I knew Jesse through my brother. The two of them graduated together. I just remember Jesse as a quiet young man who never got into any trouble. The type of kid who defined what an American boy next door would be like. I thank Jesse for serving our country. My prayers are with the Ault family in this difficult time.

I know how the family feels. I am the wife of a brain injured veteran. My husband gave the National guard 110% every deployment. He is a nearly 30 year veteran. The military refuses to reconize the brain injury as connected to the service and we feel abandoned by them. I pray every day for the troops and wish for them the best. God be with them all.

May you and your blessed family find peace in this madness half a world away. Your husband was truly a devoted family man and devoted to serving his country by making the greatest sacrafice there is. I pray his country will in turn show you and his children the respect and support you most assuredly deserve in the coming days. May you walk in peace.

May God bless you and your three children as you go through the minutes, hours, days, weeks and months ahead. I was very moved by your statement, it definately made Jesse seem so real, not just a statistic. It sounds as though you were truly blessed to have had him as a part of your life, and you will continue to be blessed to have him as a part of your memories and your heart, although it may not seem like a blessing at times. God bless you all.

I went to college with Jesse's brother, Drew Ault. This is truly a sad occasion for the Ault family. Please everyone... keep everyone who is affected by this tragic loss in your prayers.
