Researchers are looking for seven and eight year old children living in the Marietta area to participate in a five year study.
The study will examine how exposure to manganese and other metals affects a child's neurological and cognitive development.
Dr. Erin Haynes from the University of Cincinnati is spearheading the study with a $2.6 million federal grant.
Parents interested in having their kids participate can contact Marietta College Psychology Professor Dr. Mary Barnas.
