A Marietta man who plead guilty to stealing thousands of dollars from his roommate learned his fate in court Thursday.
Thomas Dyar was sentenced to three months in jail and five years probation in Judge Boyers courtroom.
Dyar was arrested in January after admitting to writing and signing his roommates name to more than fifteen thousand dollars worth of checks.
Dyar told his roommate at the time that he had a gambling problem after the victim noticed a large sum of money and pre-printed checks were missing from her financial account.
