Folks had the chance to hear from the new CEO at St. Joseph's Hospital Thursday.

Alan King addressed members of the community during a press conference.

King comes with prior experience in being one of the first CEO's to work with Signature Hospital Corporation in Texas, which also owns St. Joseph's hospital.

"They bring a lot to the table. The investment in the capital, the emphasis on patient care and quality. The driving force to address the health care issues that are nationwide," says King in regards to Signature Hospital Corp.

King and his wife moved to Parkersburg almost three months ago from Pampa, Texas.

He says they both enjoy the beauty of living in the Mid-Ohio valley.
