Dozens of youngsters laced up their shoes for a mini relay on Thursday.

Belpre Middle School students teamed up to walk for an hour and a half to raise money for Relay for Life.

The students were asked to collect at least 10 dollars each for the American Cancer Society.

Belpre Middle School Councelor Karen Waller says some students went above and beyond 10 dollars.

Relay for Life will take place in Belre on May 16 and 17th at Civitan Park.
