You may have noticed driving this week that the West Virginia welcome signs no longer read "Open for Business."
West Virginia Division of Highways officials say most of the signs in Wood and Pleasants Counties have been changed back to "Wild and Wonderful."
Earlier this week, crews removed the lettering on various bridges. Officials say the costs to do this was minimal.
The one bridge still not "Wild and Wonderful" is the Memorial Toll Bridge.
This sign is a ground mounted one that's still being manufactured. Officials expect these to be completed in June.
