Vienna Police are investigating what they're calling a murder-suicide.
Vienna Police Chief Steve Stephens says a family member found Thomas E. and Elsie V. Johnson dead in their home on the 600 block of 32nd Street in Vienna Saturday morning.
He says it appears 74-year-old Thomas E. Johnson shot his wife, 73-year-old Elsie V. Johnson.
Stephens says they both had medical problems but would not release more details because it's still under investigation.
He says there was no history of domestic violence between the two.
Their bodies are being sent to the West Virginia Medical Examiner's Office for autopsies.
Wood County Coroner Mike St. Clair says the autopsies will probably be done Monday.
Stephens says the last murder in Vienna happened thirty years ago in 1978.
