In Marietta Sunday, local artist Thaddeus Brejwo had his artwork on display

Some of Brejwo;s paintings and sculptures will be on display at Washington State Community College through June 12.

One series of sculptures is on the plight of refugees, specifically from the Middle East.

The situation hits home for Brejwo whose parents were refugees from World War II.

He will be presenting this work with the Innovative Art Alliance of Southeast Ohio and West Virginia at the Parkersburg Art Center next spring.

In addition he says he has plans in place for an outdoor art center called the Ohio Art Farm this summer.
