One local junior high student is taking his creativity all the way to California for a chance to win a $10,000 scholarship!
Google search engine is holding a competition for students to design their own version of the Google template.
Daniel Miller, a ninth grader at Jackson Junior High School, submitted his entry and was chosen as a national finalist.
"If I win, I get a $10,000 dollar scholarship, a $25,000 technology grant for the school, a laptop, and a t-shirt with my design on it," says Miller.
"Anyone can vote, now through May 18th and then on the 21st they'll announce the winners," says Kay Mason, Miller's Art Teacher.
Daniel will fly to California next week to visit the "Google-plex".
