Seven suspects are behind bars this evening after a drug round up by the Major Crimes Task Force Wednesday.

It was a team effort with the help of the Washington County Sheriff and Marietta Police Departments.

They all face different felony drug trafficking charges. Some of the investigations go back as far as October of last year.

"These are all people that have made drug deals in the past whether it be marijuana, cocaine, heroine, and those types of drugs. These are people that have a couple or three buys on them by the Major Crimes Unit," said Major John Winstanley of the Washington County Sheriff's Department.

Denise Nichols of Caldwell, Barbara and Clarence Beegle of New Matamoras, James Allen of Marietta, Tonya Davis of Marietta, Jason Corp of Marietta and John Carter of Marietta.

They're all set to go to Marietta Municipal Court Thursday.
