One woman is in the hospital Friday after an accident on Route 47 flipped her car into an embankment.
Deputy Shana Modesitt with the Wood County Sheriff's Department says 67-year old Christina Wyatt of Parkersburg was driving East on Route 47.
Witnesses say she veered on and off the roadway several times before her car rolled onto its side into the embankment trapping her in the vehicle.
Wyatt was transported to Camden Clark Memorial Hospital and is expected to be released sometime Friday night.
Wyatt was traveling with her dog, who was transported by the Parkersburg Humane Society to a local vet. Deputy Modesitt says the dog is in good condition and just a little dazed.
No charges will be filed.
