National political observers are still talking about Hillary Clinton's decisive victory over Barack Obama in Tuesday's West Virginia Democratic primary.

And a lot of what they're saying isn't flattering to the Mountain State.

National media reports have characterized West Virginia voters as poor and uneducated, and cited polls saying race was a factor in Clinton's victory.

People we spoke to Friday say it adds to the stereotypes that already exist.

"They're putting everyone else in a category," said Michelle Nesbitt, "and they don't have the right to judge, by putting people in different groups."

"Just because we state our opinion differently than other states doesn't mean they should call us biased or racist or uneducated," Sherry Davis said. "Because I don't think we're any of those."

The canvass of the results of Wood County's primary is scheduled to begin Monday morning at 9:00.

i agree with this ,in that we are not the norm of all the other states.we may not all be (harvard educated)but we are(most of us anyway have common sense. when you hear a man went to a church for 20 years and then says he never heard what the preacher said , it (common sense says he is lieing)and with a name of barack hussein obama . it doesn't take a genius to figure out he was or still is a muslem.last time i heard anything about how he was raised was his father was a good muslem, but his stepfather was a ratical muslem, who spent more time than his real father did.so if that makes us racists because we use common sense then i guess we are.i myself do not want a muslem president in my lifetime. i remember 911 if no one else does .as for the war and how they stand i am appalled of all who wants to pull out, remember vietnam? we pulled out south vietnam was taken over.in this case we pull out now they will be taken over and we will have more 911 like terror on our homeland .
