More Homes Painted Than Expected

Hundreds of teens painted homes in the Mid-Ohio Valley this week and despite less volunteers, they worked on four more buildings than expected.
High school and middle school students from across the country and locally painted and renovated the outside of 37 homes, a Lions Club building, and a mobile home at the Mid-Ohio Valley work camp.
"The first coat (of paint) they put on was horrible. I thought 'Oh no' and then the second coat went on and it was just beautiful after that. It looks like a new house. It really does. The kids were all great. I call them the children of God," said homeowner Jannet Doak.
