The wet weather wasn't enough to dampen spirits in Marietta Friday morning.

The rain held off long enoung for the Pioneer City to hold its annual 4th of July Parade.

Patriotic sounds and sites could be seen all the way up Front and Putnam streets for the parade.

Several local organizations marched in the parade, including veteran groups, the shrine club and scout groups.
