It was a sparkly Friday evening in Parkersburg. Despite the soggy start fireworks lit up the night.
The big bang drew hundreds of folks to the Parkersburg City Park where most had camped out since the skies dried out earlier in the day.
The more than 20 minute show wowed the crowd and capped off a day's worth of Independence Day celebrations throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley.
