A Grantsville man is behind bars Tuesday, accused of shooting a man Monday morning in Calhoun County.
West Virginia state police say 49-year-old Jimmy Hall shot and wounded 46-year-old Ronald McNeill Monday morning.
The incident happened around 6 am at their Mount Zion area home.
Officials say the shooting happened after an argument between Hall and McNeill.
They say Hall also tried to shoot McNeill's girlfriend in the head but the rifle failed to fire.
When troopers arrived on scene they found Hall hiding in the bushes nearby. He quickly surrendered.
Hall is in the Central Regional Jail on $100,000 dollars bond.
Mcneill was under evaluation at Charleston Area Medical Center Tuesday.
