The Parkersburg farmers market now has a permanent place in the shade.
Wednesday morning crews were busy putting up the arches for the large tent structure on Market street.
Mayor Bob Newell says about 17 more vendors have signed up for the market, doubling the amount they had last week.
That's so many that not everyone will be able to fit under the tent this week!
Bob Newell, Parkersburg Mayor says: "I don't know if everybody will be because we've already picked up so many more vendors that we'll still be setting up so many small pop up tents until the second tent is put into place and that's down the road a few weeks. But this will certainly be full."
The farmers market will be open from 11 am to 6 pm on Thursday and Friday this week.
As for the tent, it will remain up year round.
Mayor Newell believes it will help bring more outside events to the city.
