A homicide and a stabbing in Washington County this week have officials of a domestic violence support service speaking out.
Eve, Incorporated is a service for victims of family violence.
Workers say both cases have hit the agency hard.
"Take the threats of harm seriously. Call Eve. Talk to someone. Get support. Domestic violence is a crime and everyone deserves to be safe," advises Annelle Edwards, Director of Programs, Eve, Inc.
Edwards hopes these two cases encourage anyone who suspects they are involved in an abusive relationship to seek help.
You can reach Eve's anonymous hot-line at 740-374-5819.
