Friday the Wood County Deputies Association is hosting its annual Picnic In The Park.

The fun filled day will start Friday morning at 11 and will run until 2 in the afternoon at the Parkersburg City Park.

All Wood County kids are invited to take part in the picnic.

Last year more than a thousand kids came out to get to know the county's deputies.

There will be a bicycle giveaway plus lots of candy, food and games.
