Bad Accident on I-77 South Near Rockport Exit, Mile Marker 150 Save Email Print

Authorities are on the scene of a major accident on I-77 South near the Rockport exit. The accident is near mile marker 150.

The accident occurred shortly after 5:00 pm Wednesday.

It's believed a van carrying at least one elderly person and children has flipped several times. A number of ambulances have been dispatched to the area. Authorities are also setting up a possible landing zone near the accident scene for a medical helicopter.
