When Parkersburg's Homecoming kicks off in two weeks there will be some traffic changes to be aware of on Saturday for the Parkersburg News and Sentinal's Half Marathon.

Starting at 6 in the morning on Saturday, August 16th, the US 50 eastbound Juliana Street exit will be blocked off with barricades to prevent traffic from entering downtown Parkersburg.

As of 8 in the morning westbound traffic will not be permitted on Gihon Road.

However, vehicles on streets that cross Gihon Road will be allowed to cross on those streets when it is safe.

The race will end at 11:30 in the morning, and race related traffic restrictions will end at that time.
