Belpre students are soaking up their last moments of freedom before they head back to school Wednesday.

Budget constraints forced administrators to consolidate the schools.

The high school will now house grades 7 through 12, but 7th and 8th graders will mostly be in the old elementary building behind the high school.

They will also have a new assistant principal.

Students will also get to use the brand new science lab starting next week.
