Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama may be busy trying to decide on a running mate, but his campaign will be getting some help here in the Mid Ohio Valley Thursday.

Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen, also a Democrat, will be in Marietta Thursday for a town hall style meeting on Obama's behalf.

The focus of the meeting will be on how the Illinois Senator can win the Buckeye State in the upcoming election and his economic policies.

The meeting will take place at 4pm in the Plumbers And Pipefitters Union Hall on Front Street.

The meeting is open to the public.

It would be nice if Governor Bredesen would stay in Tennessee and take care of the problems here instead of trying to drum up support for another politician in another state. MR. PHIL WHERE ARE YOU???
