An early morning accident Wednesday sends one person to the hospital.
The accident happened just after midnight on US Route 50 near Borland Springs Road.
Wood County Deputy Sheriff Larry Kearns says Stephen Six from Harrisville was driving east when he fell asleep.
Deputy Sheriff Kerns says the car then slammed into the guardrail, went back on the road and overturned entering the median.
The car came to rest in the westbound lane on its wheels.
Six was taken to Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg.
He was treated and released.
